Welcome to LiveAura ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and web services (collectively, the "Services").

LiveAura is a video analysis and social interaction platform. Users upload short videos for analysis, can optionally share them to Live Feed (deleted after 24h), use Live Aura Mode (3D AR venue aura), view World Map leaderboards, participate in contests, and interact with other users.

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account Information: Username, email address, password (encrypted), date of birth
• Profile Information: Display name, bio, profile photo, gender preference
• Videos & Images: Short videos you upload for analysis (optional Live Feed share), profile pictures, contest submissions
• Payment Information: Payment details for in-app purchases (processed securely through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe)
• Communications: Messages sent through our chat system, support inquiries, feedback

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Features used, pages viewed, time spent, click data, navigation paths
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, mobile network information
• Location Data: Approximate location based on IP address (not precise GPS location)
• Log Data: IP address, browser type, access times, crash reports, performance data
• Cookies & Similar Technologies: Session cookies, authentication tokens, preference settings

2.3 AI-Generated Data

• Video Analysis Results: Social score from video (clarity, lighting, motion, duration); leaderboard score
• Comparison Data: Results from video/profile comparisons with other users
• Match Data: Compatibility scores and match percentages

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Core Service Delivery

• Provide video analysis and social scoring
• Enable optional Live Feed upload (videos deleted after 24h), Live Aura Mode (venue aura), World Map rankings
• Enable photo contests, voting, and community features
• Facilitate user matching and comparisons
• Process and manage in-app purchases

3.2 Communication

• Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)

4. Video Analysis & Data Processing

4.1 How Video Analysis Works

• When you upload a short video, we analyze technical criteria (clarity, lighting, motion, duration) to compute a social score
• Analysis is performed using machine learning models trained on diverse datasets
• Results are generated in real-time and stored in your account
• No biometric identification: Our system does not identify individuals or match to external databases

4.2 AI Accuracy Disclaimer

⚠️ Important: AI scores are for entertainment purposes only. Results are for entertainment. Accuracy may vary based on video quality, lighting, and duration.

4.3 Video and Image Data

Video and image data

• Collection: The app processes short videos you upload for analysis. Data collected: (1) the video file, (2) a numeric social score computed on our servers (clarity, lighting, motion, duration). Optional: you may upload the same video to Live Feed; those videos are automatically deleted after 24 hours. No biometric template is created or stored. Live Aura Mode and World Map may use location (optional).
• Use: Computing the analysis score, leaderboards, and profile; optional Live Feed display (24h). Data is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.
• Storage: Videos and scores are stored on LiveAura servers. Videos uploaded for analysis may be kept briefly after processing; they are permanently deleted on account deletion or your request. Live Feed videos are deleted after 24 hours. Analysis scores and profile/community content are retained while your account is active; all are removed when the account is deleted.
• Sharing: Data is not sold to third parties. The cloud service used for video analysis is used temporarily for processing and does not retain data.
• Rights: You may delete your account; you may request deletion of your data.

5. How We Share Your Information

5.1 Public Information

The following information is publicly visible to other users:

• Username and profile photo
• Videos you optionally post to Live Feed (deleted after 24h) or photos in contests/community feed
• Contest rankings and scores (if you participate)
• Comments and votes on community posts

5.2 Service Providers

We share data with trusted third-party service providers:

• Cloud Hosting: Supabase (database, authentication), Cloudflare R2 (image storage)
• Payment Processing: Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Stripe SDK
• Analytics & Monitoring: Sentry (error tracking), Upstash Redis (rate limiting, caching)
• Video Analysis: Cloud video analysis service (social score); optional Live Feed upload
• Notifications: Expo Push Notifications (mobile)

Mobile SDK Disclosure: LiveAura mobile app uses:

• Expo SDK: Notifications, image picker, file system, secure storage
• Supabase SDK: Database, authentication, storage
• Apple In-App Purchase / Google Play Billing: Native payment processing

Web SDK Disclosure: LiveAura web app uses:

• Stripe SDK: Payment processing
• Sentry SDK: Error tracking and crash reporting
• Supabase SDK: Database, authentication, storage

These SDKs do not sell personal data and are bound by strict data protection agreements.

6. Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained while your account is active
• Videos/Photos: Analysis videos stored until you delete or close account; Live Feed videos deleted after 24 hours
• Analysis Results: Retained for service functionality (can be deleted on request)
• Chat Messages: Retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted
• Logs & Analytics: Retained for up to 12 months

To delete your account: Settings → Delete Account (mobile) or Profile → Delete Account (web)

7. Your Privacy Rights

7.2 Deletion

• Delete individual videos/photos from your profile
• Delete specific analysis results
• Delete entire account: Settings → Delete Account (irreversible)

LiveAura mobile app requests the following permissions only with user consent:

• 💾 Media Upload: To upload videos for analysis and optional Live Feed
• 📍 Location: Optional – Live Aura Mode (venue aura), World Map (country rankings)
• 🔔 Notifications: To send match and message notifications

All permissions are optional and can be controlled in your device settings. The app will function with limited features if permissions are denied.

8.2 App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

✅ LiveAura does NOT track users across apps or websites.
We do not use third-party ad trackers, cross-app tracking tools, or sell your data to advertisers.

9. Age Requirements & Children's Privacy

Our Services are intended for users 17 years of age and older (18+ in some jurisdictions).

• We do not knowingly collect data from users under 17
• Users must select and confirm their age (18+) during registration
• If we learn we have collected data from an underage user, we will delete it immediately
• Parents/guardians can contact us at myfacerates@gmail.com to report underage users
• This app contains user-generated content and social features appropriate for mature audiences

10. International Data Transfers

• Our servers are located in the United States and Europe
• By using our Services, you consent to data transfer to these regions
